CRS to Build Big Creek Trail, Phase 4

Forsyth County has awarded CRS Building Corporation with the contract for construction of Big Creek Trail in Cumming, Georgia. Construction is to start in mid November, 2013 and is expected to be completed in November, 2014. 

 

July, 2013 

CRS Awarded Waleska Park

Cherokee County has awarded CRS Building Corporation with the contract for construction of Waleska Park in Waleska, Georgia.  CRS is very excited to commence work on this project which includes erosion control, site work, parking lots, concrete walkways, a new Concession/Restroom Building, renovation of existing baseball fields, renovation of existing playground, site signage, irrigation, landscaping, and batting cages.  Construction is to start in mid July, 2013 and is expected to be completed in February, 2014.

CRS to Build Boys & Girls Clubs of Jackson County

Jackson County has awarded the contract to CRS Building Corporation to construct the Boys & Girls Clubs of Jackson County in Jefferson, Georgia. The new proposed building will be 6,900 SF and includes 4 large program spaces, offices, and restrooms for children and adults.  Project is designed by 2WR Architects. Construction will begin in late July, 2013 and is expected to be completed by February, 2014.

Gwinnett County Fire Maintenance Facility Underway

CRS Building Corporation is excited to have recently started the Fire Maintenance Facility for Gwinnett County.  The project is located in Lawrenceville, Georgia and the proposed building is a 5,600 SF and includes offices, restrooms, and multiple spaces for the fire department to test and maintain their equipment.  Project is designed by Precision Planning.  Construction will begin in May, 2013 and is expected to be completed by October, 2013.

CRS Awarded Forsyth County Animal Shelter

CRS is excited to be recently awarded the construction of the Forsyth County Animal Shelter.  The work includes a 15,740 SF Animal Shelter, all Site Work, and Landscaping.  Construction is expected to commence at the beginning of March and anticipated completion date is the end of December.

CRS to Build Big Creek Trail, Phase 4

 

Forsyth County has awarded CRS Building Corporation with the contract for the construction of Big Creek Trail, Phase 4.  This project includes the construction of a twelve-foot wide multi-use trail using concrete and boardwalk along Big Creek and Kelly Mill Road for approximately 2.85 miles.  The Project will start at Bethelview Big Creek Trailhead and will continue along Big Creek for approximately 2.1 miles and then parallel to Kelly Mill Road for approimately 0.75 miles ending at Johnson Road.  Project will have two prefabricated bridges crossing Big Creek.  Construction is to start mid November, 2013 and is expected to be completed by November, 2014.

Grand Opening at Waterset Amenity Center

A Grand Opening of the Waterset Amenity Center in Apollo Beach, Florida was held on October 6, 2012. CRS Building Coproration is very proud of the recent completion of this project. Construction commenced in early June 2012 and was completed in "4 months" including the challenges of 2 tropical storms and over 35 inches of rain. This12,650 SF LEED Certified building will now serve as a Welcome/Amenity Center. CRS Bulding Corporation also completed the 2,424 SF Gutter Swimming Pool and Site Infrastructure Improvements including utilities, paving, grading, sidewalks and trails.

CRS to Construct Fire Station 3 in Cumming, Georgia

Forsyth County has awarded the contract to CRS Building Corporation to construct  Fire Station 3 in Cumming, Georgia. Project consists of construction of a new 7,333 SF Fire Station with 2 bay engine apparatus bay, bunkrooms, offices, kitchen, dining/dayroom, restrooms, and storage areasincluding Site Work and Landscaping. Construction will begin in September, 2012 and expected to be completed by May, 2013.

CRS to Build Starling Club Amenity Center

FishHawk Community Development District III has awarded the contract to CRS Building Corporation to construct the Starling Club Amenity Center in Lithia, Florida. Project consists of construction of two LEED Certified one story Neighborhood Amenity Buildings. The Starling Club is 8,123 SF and the Starling Club Pool Bath is 1,446 SF. Hardscapes are included and consist of concrete pavers, site furnishings, pool fencing/gates, arbor, trellis, pergola, fountain, fire pit, walls, stairs, lighting and dog park fencing/gates. Construction will begin in May, 2012 and expected to be completed by October, 2012.

CRS to Build Waterset Amenity Center

North Waterset Community Development District has awarded the contract to CRS Building Corporation to construct the Waterset Amenity Center in Apollo Beach, Florida. Project consists of construction of a 12,650 SF LEED Certified Welcome/Amenity Center, 2,424 SF Gutter Swimming Pool and Site Infrastructure Improvements including utilities, paving, grading, sidewalks and trails. Construction will begin in April, 2012 and expected to be completed by September, 2012.

CRS to Build San Antonio Fire Station 27

Pasco County Board of Commissioners has awarded the contract to CRS Building Corporation to construct the San Antonio Fire Station 27 in San Antonio, Florida. Project consists of construction of a new 7,223 SF Fire Station with 3 bay engine apparatus bay, bunkrooms, offices, conference room, kitchen, dining/dayroom, restrooms, storage areas and screened patio including Site Work and Landscaping. Construction will begin in April, 2012 and expected to be completed by January, 2013.

CRS to Build CCT Paratransit Facility

The Cobb County Board of Commissioners has approved the contract for CRS Building Corporation to construct the CCT Paratransit Facility in Marietta, Georgia.  Project consists of construction of a 10,560 S.F. one story Administrative and Operations building, a 6,171 S.F. one story Maintenance Building addition, a parking lot with 79 spaces for paratransit vehicles, a parking lot with 109 spaces for employee vehicles and other site improvements.  Construction will begin in May, 2012 and is expected to be completed by February, 2013.

CRS Awarded Harbins Park in Dacula, Georgia

The Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners has approved the contract for CRS Building Corporation to construct Harbins Park in Dacula, Georgia.  This 146 acre Park includes clearing, grading, and site preparation; underground utility installation; paving, trail construction, restroom building, concession/restroom building, octagonal pavilion, shade structures, fencing, multi-purpose artificial turf sports field, landscaping, irrigation, site lighting, site furnishings, interactive fountain feature, playground, and dam dog park.  Construction will begin in September, 2011 and is expected to be completed by July, 2012.

CRS to Build Hickory Hills Park in Marietta, Georgia

The City of Marietta has awarded the construction of the Hickory Hills Park to CRS Building Corporation.  When completed, the park will have tennis courts, playground, soccer fields, multi purppose field, walking trails, parking, restroom buildings, and shade structures.  Construction is anticipated to begin by August and take approximately 6 months to complete.

 

July, 2011

CRS Awarded Fire Station 11 in St. Petersburg, Florida

The City of St. Petersburg has awarded the Renovations of the Lakewood Fire Station 11 to CRS Building Corporation. This project consists of 8,640 SF of interior reconfiguration, 800 SF of additions and other Site related items. Construction will begin in August with anticipated completion by March of 2012.

 

May, 2011

CRS to Build Waterstone Falls Amenity in Cumming, Georgia

CRS Building Corporation was recently awarded the contract to construct the Amenity Facility at Waterstone Falls Subdivision in Cumming, Georgia.  This 5 acre Amenity includes construction of cabana, pool, pool deck, fencing, tennis courts, playground, sidewalks, and parking lots.  Construction will begin at the beginning of June and CRS anticipates completion by September.

CRS Awarded Bryson Park in Lilburn, Georgia

The Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners has approved the contract for CRS Building Corporation to construct Bryson Park at 5075 Lawrenceville Highway in Lilburn, Georgia.  This 68 acre Park includes clearing, grading, and site preparation; underground utility installation; paving, trail construction, retaining wall construction, multi-purpose field concession building, maintenance building, soccer field concession building, press box, trail head shelter, restroom building, shade structure, fencing, basketball courts, soccer fields, multi-purpose field, volleyball courts, playgrounds, landscaping, irrigation, site lighting, site furnishings, and boardwalks.  The Landscape Architect is JB+A, Inc located in Atlanta, Georgia, the Civil Engineer is Foresite Group, Inc located in Norcross, Georgia and the Architect is Gerding Collaborative located in Atlanta, Georgia.  Construction will begin in January, 2011 and is expected to be completed by December, 2011.

Ribbon Cutting at Union City Fire Station 3

CRS Building is proud to announce the recent completion and official ribbon cutting for the opening of the Union City Fire Station 3 at 6735 Oakley Industrial Blvd in Union City, Georgia.  Construction commenced in late 2009 was completed in 8 months.  This 8,498 sq-ft Fire Station includes an engine apparatus bay, storage rooms, watch room, public safety office, offices, kitchen, dayroom, dining, restrooms, and bunk rooms.  The building incorporates solar power, solar hot water, energy efficient practices, geo thermal equipment, and other environmental friendly components which was designed by Brown Design Group located in East Point, Georgia.  The Fire Station sits on approximately 2.55 acres of land with CRS Building Corporation also completing the site work, curbs, sidewalks, paving, and landscaping.

CRS Awarded Rhodes Jordan Park Expansion in Lawrenceville, Georgia

The Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners has approved the contract for CRS Building Corporation to construct the Rhodes Jordan Park Expansion at 100 East Crogan Street in Lawrenceville, Georgia.  This 148 acre Park Expansion includes clearing, grading, and site preparation; underground utility installation; paving, trail construction, retaining wall construction, 3 pavilions, restroom building, soccer concession building, maintenance building, tennis office, shade structures, bridges, fencing, basketball courts, soccer fields, landscaping, irrigation, site lighting, site furnishings, lake dredging, boardwalks, and dam improvements. The Civil Engineer is Foresite Group, Inc located in Norcross, Georgia and the Architect is Gerding Collaborative located in Atlanta, Georgia.  Construction will begin in May, 2010 and is expected to be completed by July, 2011.  When completed, the Rhodes Jordan Park Expansion will provide many more options for the residents of Gwinnett County.  CRS Building Corporation is excited to be part of this project and looks forward to a completed project that everyone can be proud of.

CRS Completes Gwinnett County Fire Station 30 in Loganville, Georgia

CRS Building is proud to announce the recent completion of the Gwinnett County Fire Station 30 at 1052 Ozora Road in Loganville, Georgia.  Construction commenced earlier this year in February and was completed in less than 9 months from initial mobilization to final completion.  This 12,806 sq-ft Fire Station includes bunk rooms, restrooms, fitness room, kitchen, dining, day room, apparatus bay, community classroom, offices, turn out, mud room, and storage rooms.  The Fire Station was designed by Lindsay Pope Brayfield & Associates located in Lawrenceville, Georgia.  The building sits on approximately 15.23 acres of land with CRS Building Corporation also completing the demolition, site work, curbs, sidewalks, paving, landscaping, and irrigation.

The Cherokee County Board of Commissioners has approved the contract for CRS Building Corporation to construct the Cherokee County Fire Station 6 at 3396 Land Road in Canton, Georgia.  This 10,238 sq-ft Fire Station includes an apparatus bay, storage rooms, locker room, training room, exercise room, offices, kitchen, dayroom, dining, restrooms, and bunk rooms.  The Fire Station is designed by JKH Architects located in Dalton, Georgia.  The proposed construction of the Fire Station will sit on approximately 2.5 acres of land with CRS Building Corporation also responsible for the completion of site work, curbs, sidewalks, paving, landscaping, and fencing.

Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at Loganville Fire Station 3

On June 30, 2009, the Loganville Fire Station 3 located at 180 Old Loganville Road was officially opened during the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony.  Construction commenced at the beginning of this year in January and was completed within 6 months.  This 6,316 sq-ft, 2 Story, Fire Station includes engine bay, decontamination room, hazmat room, gear wash room, exercise room, storage rooms, restrooms, community room, offices, day room, kitchen, and bunk rooms.  The Fire Station was designed by Carter Watkins Associates Architects located in Monroe, Georgia.  CRS Building Corporation was proud to be part of this ceremony and play an integral part in reducing the response time for emergencies in the city of Loganville.

CRS to Build Fire Station in Loganville, Georgia

CRS has been awarded Loganville Fire Station #3 in Loganville, Georgia.  This project includes a 6,316 SF, 2 story Fire Station with 2 garage bays.  The Loganville Fire Station scope of work also includes site work and landscaping.  Construction is anticipated to begin in January 2009.

CRS Awarded Northwood Clubhouse in Wesley Chapel, Florida

CRS will be building the 1,996 SF Northwood Clubhouse in Wesley Chapel, Florida.  The contract includes the construction of this clubhouse containing a meeting room, kitchen, restrooms and office, as well as site work and selective demolition.  Northwood is an existing subdivision that has committed to adding a new community building to meet the demands of their residents.  CRS looks forward to a final product that both the residents of Northwood and CRS are very proud of.

CRS Will Build Two Hillsborough County Fire Stations in Florida

Seffner Mango Fire Station #18 is a 3 bay, 8,134 SF Fire Station located in Seffner, Florida. The scope of work includes construction of this Fire Station as well as site work, demolition, landscaping, fencing, and access controls.  Gibsonton Fire Station #12 combines both remodeling of selective portions of the existing building as well as an addition of 3,500 SF.  Also included at Gibsonton are demolition, site work and landscaping.  CRS is very excited to begin construction on these two Fire Stations after recently finishing two Fire Stations in Pasco County just this month.

CRS Contracted to Construct Riverside Park in Florida

CRS has been awarded the construction project of Riverside Park in Temple Terrace, Florida.  This 1.5 acre park will include walkways, retention pond and drainage, installation of utilities, lighting, fencing, landscaping, restroom facilities and amenities upon completion.  CRS anticipates beginning construction of this park in December 2008.

CRS’ Trevor Sas awarded LEED Accreditation to Build “Green”

CRS is proud to announce that Trevor Sas, Vice President, has obtained LEED accreditation by the U.S. Green Building Council.  The LEED Building Accreditation has been earned by approximately 43,000 professionals across the country since 2001.  Through being awarded the LEED Accreditation, CRS Building Corporation has demonstrated knowledge of green building practices and principals, as well as the LEED Rating System.  CRS is excited to work with clients on future LEED projects.

CRS completes LakeShore Ranch Project

CRS Building Corporation has recently completed the LakeShore Ranch project, an Evans Group  designed "signature project " .  The LakeShore Ranch project included a 12,051 square-foot clubhouse, including lap, resort and kids pools.  In addition, the project included a 1,322 square-foot manned gate house, 2 entry fountains, tennis and basketball courts, and a dog park.  LakeShore Ranch is located in Land O’ Lakes, Florida.

CRS joins Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association

CRS Building Corporation has recently joined the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association to continue its expansion into the Atlanta metro area.  This association has over 3,200 members, making it the second largest local homebuilding association in the country.  CRS hopes to gain valuable relationships with numerous members including subcontractors, vendors, home builders, and developers.

 

September, 2008

CRS awarded Tampa Palms Hardscape Renovations Contract

CRS Building Corporation was awarded the Tampa Palms Hardscape Renovation Contract as the low bidder, which includes the reconstruction of two main entrances, and forty-four village entries in Tampa, Florida.  The contracted work will include the demolition of existing walls, rebuilding brick walls and installation of LED lighting.  CRS Building Corporation will also coordinate the installation of granite signage.  The renovation is estimated to begin in September of 2008 and will be completed in eighteen months.

CRS obtains State of Georgia General Contractors License

CRS Building Corporation announced in July of 2008 that they will expand its services to now include metro Atlanta area.  In August of 2008, CRS President Craig Sas obtained the company's State of Georgia General Contractors license.  Plans are to open a second office in Atlanta prior to the end of 2008.  CRS Vice President Trevor Sas will act as the General Manger for this region.

CRS becomes a member of the Florida Gulf Coast Champter U.S. Green Building Council

Due to increased environmental awareness in construction, CRS Building Corporation has joined the Florida Gulf Coast Chapter U.S. Green Building Council.  The decision to join this council was from the high demand of CRS clients that have shown interest in participating in Green Building.  CRS Building Corporation looks forward to working on a number of projects in the future that include Green Building.

CRS contracted to construct amenity at Meadow Pointe

CRS Building Corporation was recently contracted to construct the phase four amenity facility at Meadow Pointe in Wesley Chapel, Florida.  The contracted scope of work includes a 4,000 SF clubhouse, 4,490 SF swimming pool with brick paver deck and fencing, two tennis courts, two basketball courts, and two volleyball courts.  Construction is to begin in March of 2008 and CRS anticipates completion in September of 2008.
